He was once a government worker that was part of the Digital World experiment. Taken from his friends, family and everything he had once known X went into a state of shock. He grew attached to the place and the creatures in it and protested heavily against using them as a weapon. He was thrown from the project after being found trying to sabotage it. He escaped the government and fled to safety, despite wanting to stay and help the digital world. He stayed in hiding, waiting out the day where he could take his revenge on the government that had used him and so many other kids in its experiments. One thing is certain, though, he didn't come to the Digital World by mistake. He knew that the Digital World would surface one day, and he's been training for the day that it would happen. He played the game like everyone else, waiting for the day when the government would try and make its move and when it did he waited just a little bit longer. The email he got was the signal that everything was moving into place. He has traveled there intentionally with a very clear objective in mind. He's out to take down the government, and he's out to do it with no one but his Digimon partner by his side. A lone Digimon stands waiting in the middle of the vast desert, his only company the rocks, the cacti, and the strange package that had digitized into existence shortly after he had arrived at the meeting spot. There's nothing else around for miles. The only sound is the slight breeze shifting the sand. The Digimon remains motionless as he stares at the moon, appearing more to be part of the landscape than a passing wanderer. This was the spot he knew that he should be waiting. The package was proof of that... but something seemed to be wrong. What was taking so long?... He grew restless waiting, so he decided to double-check the contents of the large pack at his feet. Everything seemed to be in order, so he packed it all back away and had a seat atop the whole thing... More time passes... Something is definitely wrong. They were half an hour behind schedule. Suddenly the wind shifted, and thunder rumbled in the distance. Particles of data slowly started to form a figure in front of the patiently waiting Digimon. He got to his feet. This was it! Either this is what he was waiting for, or he was about to have a fight on his hands. He relaxed as the figure became more clear, and stepped forward as the human finished forming before him. The human stood frozen, eyes closed. He needed a moment to adjust after the being transported to the Digital World. He didn't think that the feeling of being ripped into tiny bits of data and then being reassembled would ever be something that he'd get used to. The Digimon took another step closer. "You're late." "There were...complications on my end." came the reply. "Sorry to keep you waiting." The man opened his eyes slowly for the first time and laid his eyes on his Digimon partner. "It's been a long time." he said. The Digimon just looked right back at him and said "It's good to have you back." They hugged briefly before the man stepped back to assess the package. "So, is it all there?" "Yeah. I checked it a little while before you got here." the Digimon answered. The man turned back from his assessment of the package and looked his partner in the eyes. "This will probably get really ugly before it's all said and done. Are you sure that you wanna get yourself involved?" The Digimon stared back with unwavering eyes. "I'm with you until the end. Where you go, I go. " The man just nodded, pulled two traveling cloaks from the bag, and handed one to his partner. They put them on, and the man shouldered the pack. As he pulled his hood over his head, he turned and said "Okay. Lead the way. " They set off into the night. Only time would tell what would happen next.
