Her husband, Hermes was by her side, holding her hand through the entire thing. It was going to be a difficult birth, seeing as she was having triplets. She was looking forward to becoming a mother and looking forward to having something to spend her time on during the day. Aphrodite was going to be the best mother ever, or so she thought. First there was Malaina, the eldest child and the one destined to look after them all. Next was Adonis, the one who would be the youngest child's hero. And finally the main focus of this history, Psyche, the spoiled brat that stopped at nothing to get whatever she wanted from whomever she wanted. Even from the time she was born she was the most demanding of them all. Their names came from their mother's love of Greek mythology and the ancient gods and goddesses that were worshipped in their time. She gave them the names that she loved the most. Their mother only got one real look at them before her eyes closed forever and their father sunk down into a drunken stupor. She died from the strain and the blood loss, not able to carry on any further. They started to grow up, inseparable from one another and taking care of each other. It was more like the others were taking turns taking care of Psyche. She grew up in a way that caused no sense of real boundaries for getting what she wanted. When they were in kindergarten and the younger grades, they established who they were within the triplet's group. Melaina was the oldest, which made her more mature and the one that was taking care of the other two. She would patch some of their clothes and when their toys broke she would glue them back together. Psyche would have her stuffed bunny dragging on rocks and sticks so she would always be taking it to her older sister to have it fixed. Their father was always gone, always drunk, so she looked to Adonis to be a father figure in which she could count on. She stuck to him like glue and made sure that he was never out of her site. That was when she started to realize that people picked on Adonis more than they picked on her and Melaina. They had a feeling that he was different. They would tease him and call him a girl. Psyche knew that this was wrong, very wrong. She got an idea, there was a nest of fire ants outside of their house, Malaina always told her to not to touch. She gathered them up and brought them to school, putting them in the cubby holes of the bullies. Things ended badly. Ado and Melania refused to leave their sister's side when they were kicking her out of the school. They ended up in a private Catholic School. The three siblings used to have a nanny that took care of them until they were independent enough to waddle around the house without killing themselves by knocking over expensive pottery. Their nanny, who Psyche and Adonis hated, quit in a fit of rage and tears because of all the pranks the mischievous children threw at her. They didn’t want a stranger invading their territory and telling them what to do. Psyche was proud of herself and her brother for this adventures because she thought that they brought the two of them closer. However, as they reached Middle School, she noticed that her older sister was starting to drift a little way away from them, becoming more motherly and less rambunctious. As Ado and Psyche got more detentions for behaving badly, Lania got them because she felt she had to and it made Psyche feel bad for her sister. Not bad enough to change her behavior but bad enough to ease up a little. The bullying Adonis faced escalated but between Melania and Psyche’s teamwork, most of the student body was too afraid to even look at the boy the wrong way after awhile. Between Psyche’s violent schemes and Melania’s intellect, there were a lot of different ways to punish offenders of the golden rule, DON’T MESS WITH THE TERRIBLE THREE! There were idiots, of course, but one fine example quickly shut up all protesters. Psyche brought their family Pet, a cat named Mr. Fluffenutter, to school. The cat was obviously overweight and unusually grumpy. Normally, the youngest sibling couldn’t bring such a fat cat anywhere without breaking her back, to school but Melania helpfully acquired a shopping cart to transport the animal around. The bullies had suffered from their lungs being crushed by the immense weight of said cat and they never said a word to Adonis again. Incidentally, being crushed by Mr. Fluffernutter, who Melania dubs ‘that cat’, is one of her greatest fears, which Psyche likes to tease her about. High school was a series of detentions, misadventures and boyfriends. Every week was a new boy and every week was a new reason to get detention. People who thought they were tough tried picking on Ado while Lania and Psy punished them furiously. Her grades were terrible and she continued to be spoiled by Ado and scolded by Lania. When she graduated from school, there wasn't much for her lifes asperations so she just sat around the house until one day the game they had enjoyed so much, a Digimon game came back online. Excited the three crowded around the tv that they hooked it up to and yet suddenly they were sucked inside, off to the digital world. Where were her siblings? Opening up her eyes in the morning was starting to become more and more of a chore, rather than something she looked forward to and actually getting up was something she wanted to avoid. She would find herself laying in a field for hours on end until finally darkness came again and she could start the cycle all over again. Ever since she had found herself lost in the woods, far away from her belongings things had never seemed the same. The flowers seemed duller and the sky grayer. The air seemed stale and the sunlight seemed cold. It seemed as though there was nothing to keep her from drifting away, no sort of anchor nor a sense of belonging other than the books she read, other than the dreams she dreamt of everynight that seemed like memories. Maybe they were her memories that had dissapeared so long ago? Maybe that was why she could never remember them when she woke up. Even now she lay in the field next to a large building. It was early in the morning, maybe six o'clock or so and people were starting to go on with their day. At least the early risers were. Psyche still had no idea what she would be doing today. Probably retreating a ways behind the building and reading a book that she had managed to salvage from a junkyard a while back. All the books she read seemed as though she was trying to fill the empty spaces in her mind. Sure she could try to make more memories, try to make new friends, but if the same thing happened again then she would never be able to reclaim that information. At least if it came down to it she would be able to relearn everything from these books just by reading the pages once more. Knowledge from books could never truly be lost, it was always there. Finally she opened her eyes to the morning light. It seemed, brighter, today for some reason. Even though it was getting on in the seasons, soon approaching winter, she seemed a bit warmer than usual. Maybe she had chosen a good place to sleep for the night or maybe she had just gotten a little better rest than normal. PSYCHE wasn't used to a day being this good. Pushing herself up from the dewy grass she shook her hair and face free of it. It was nice to sleep in nature, nice to be where the air smelled clean. But when was the last time that she had actually enjoyed it? She couldn't really remember to be honest. She bit her lip gently, not nearly hard enough to hurt at all, and thought about where she might be. There was really no telling with her. She had been to many places and slept in many fields, this one seemed like all the rest. Her dark blue nightgown was damp from the dew that came with the morning but she was use to this sort of thing. All she had to do was go behind a clump of trees and change into something dry so that she wouldn't end up getting a cold. After all living outside didn't leave many options for her to get medical treatment other than a few natural cures that she had learned while she read. But then again most of the things she had read had been about how to treat Pokemon with home remedies, not humans, but how different could they really be? After all, some Digimon had a humanoid features so wouldn't that place them being closely related to humans? She shook her head and her white dew soaked hair fell into her face. It was time for her to get ready for the day, if she waited any longer then she would risk having people walk in on her changing clothes. She sighed and grabbed at the satchel she carried with her, one she had created out of some material a sewing shop had thrown out due to a stain on one of the corners. To her, it was a waste of something that could be used. The pale green material made her think of spring, of something a little more hopeful than she usually felt. There was just something about dew that seemed to make her hair bounce a little more than when she washed it in regular water, something that made it shine a little more. It was one of the few things she enjoyed other than reading was brushing her hair out every morning. It was a mind numbing task that made her feel a little peaceful. When doing it she didn't have to think about anything else. But first things first she needed to get out of the wet nightgown and into something a little warmer. Her barefeet traveled a little ways over the field and she walked behind a clump of six trees that were growing close to one another. This was a good a place as any and unless someone was coming out of the woods in a specific angle no one would be able to see her change. Off came the navy blue nightdress and on went a cream sundress. It hung to her knees with little ruffles at the end, it had tanktop sleeves that really didn't create much of a warming intrest. She would have to get some material for making winter clothing soon. Still, she could keep a little warmer with a few extra things. Pulling on knee high socks, pulling the setting ribbons a little tighter than usual so she wouldn't have to stop and fix them near as much as usual. For some reason she felt like she would be traveling an awful lot today. Her shoes were the next thing to go on so that her socks wouldn't get dirty. If they didn't get dirty that was another thing she wouldn't have to wash right away. It was always good when she had a little less work to do. The plain black mary janes were the only shoes she had. It was to much hassle to carry more than one pair about. White gloves covered her arms up to her elbows, ribbons matching her socks were just for show, seeing as she hadn't stretched the gloves to where they actually needed them. She was almost finished, there was only two more things left. She tied the black ribbon that wrapped around the dress into a large bow in the back, the ends trailed down to mid calf, she felt it tickle the back her her knee. She pushed her hair back a little bit and wrapped her headband up, tying it with a light green ribbon. It was time for her to get going, time for her to find a new place to sleep for the night. "Now, which direction should I go? Maybe west today." West was the direction to go for the day. She sighed deeply. Was this really a decent way to live? Stepping out of the trees, she saw a group of people walking towards the building that she had slept next to last night. Maybe it was some sort of school? They seemed a little excited to be going to school and there seemed to be people of all ages, Psyche could have sworn that one of the people had been in their mid thirties. Maybe it was some sort of fair? Suddenly someone spotted to her and waved cheerfully! A brown haired boy walked over to her, a large smile on his face.
